FakeSpy – Android Information Stealing Malware Attack to Steal Text Messages, Call Records & Contacts
Cybercriminals spreading new Android Malware called FakeSpy to compromise the infected Android users into stealing text messages, account information, contacts, and call records. FakeSpy using SMS as an entry point of the attack to drop the Trojan and also serve as a vector for a banking trojan.

Hundreds of Hotels Affected by Data Breach at Hotel Booking Software Provider
The personal details and payment card data of guests from hundreds of hotels, if not more, have been stolen this month by an unknown attacker, Bleeping Computer has learned. The data was taken from FastBooking, a Paris-based company that sells hotel booking software to more than 4,000 hotels in 100 countries —as it claims on its website.

Ukraine says Russian hackers are preparing back doors for a massive strike
Hackers from Russia are infecting Ukrainian companies with malicious software to create “back doors” for a large, coordinated attack, Ukraine’s cyber police chief told Reuters on 26 June. The hackers are targeting companies, including banks and energy infrastructure firms, in a roll-out that suggests they are preparing to activate the malware in one massive strike, cyber police chief Serhiy Demedyuk said. Ukrainian police are working with foreign authorities to identify the hackers, Demedyuk added.
